Samantha Westin is a 29-year-old Human woman and upcoming occult researcher. She was approached by Terrence Vigil after he read her recently published dissertation on folklore in coastal cultures. Her focus was regarding rarely documented deities and their possible mythic origins throughout history under a different name or description. Westin was raised by a single father who taught her to be open-minded toward any type of knowledge or experience. This has led her to be interested in multicultural experiences, where her studies synthesize with her belief in the unknown. In graduate school, she studied the patterns of paranatural descriptions throughout multiple cultures and pre-history as well. She is knowledgeable of the vigilante community of Ghostwood as well, considering them to be legally licensed paranatural beings. She believes they are a valuable asset in field work and often seeks out various vigilantes for information on their exploits with other paranaturals.
