Prisoner It’s a big universe. Someone’s got to run afoul of it. Maybe you were breaking the law for all the right reasons, maybe not. Maybe / you didn’t even do anything wrong, and they just had to arrest someone. The point is, here you are, and you’re going to have to live through it (after all, if Jim Rockford wasn’t too good to do time, neither are you).   Prerequisites: Forced due to capture while engaged in illegal activity in the Criminal, Corsair, Mercenary, or Rebel careers. ALso if you roll a 2 in the re-enlistment throw   All Terms   Survival : Con 12   Position: Str 20+   Promotion: Int 18+   Re-Enlist : roll 1d6+4, this is your Parole Threshold and at the end of the term you have to roll a Cha check and beat that roll to get out, if you fail you are in for another term. If you roll a 20 you always get out.    You first have to get a position before can roll Promotions and go up the prison ladder.

8 You are accused of assaulting a prison guard. Parole Threshold +2
9 Someone does not like you in here, Gain an Enemy. Contacts, Allies, Rivals and Enemies
10 A prison gang persecutes you. You may choose to fight back if you wish, but if you do not, you lose all Benefit rolls from your prison career. If you fight back, roll Con 15+. Fail, and you must roll twice on the Injuries and Medical Coverage and take the lower result. Succeed, and you gain an Enemy and raise Parole Threshold by +1.
11 A guard takes a dislike to you. Gain an Enemy and raise your Parole Threshold by +1.
12 You come well-known in jail and when get out can enter Rogue Career without rolling.
      The warden takes an interest in your case. Reduce your Parole Threshold by -2.
2d6 Roll Event
10 - 11 Disaster! Throw on the Mishap Table, but you are not ejected from this career.
12 You make a guard angry and you are assigned difficult labor. Roll CON or Acrobatics 15+. If you fail, increase your Parole Threshold by +1. If you succeed, reduce your Parole Threshold by-1, gain a Contact, and take acrobatics.
13 Your ship is attacked. Throw Dexterity 15+ to avoid a throw on the Injuries and Medical Coverage
14 You repeatedly take whatever drug is available to pass the time. Reduce Con–1
15 You befriend a murderer. Roll Diplomacy 15+.If you succeed, gain an Ally. If you fail, you have angered the inmate. Roll on the Injuries and Medical Coverage and gain an Enemy.
16-20 You try to get some changes made at the prison with a petition. Gain Skill Restricted: Streetwise Wis 1 and reduce your Patrol Threshold by –1.
21 You prepare meals for the other inmates. Profession (cook)
22 You are always on the lookout for someone moving against you. Gain Skill Restricted: Streetwise Wis
23 Some new evidence emerges in your case. Roll Int 15+ or lose a Benefit roll. If you lose the Benefit roll or if you succeed, you are freed. If you fail, your sentence is reduced. Reduce your Parole Threshold by –2.
24 You are presented with the chance to keep some confiscated goods. If you attempt to keep them, throw Bluff 15+ to gain +1 on a benefit throw, if you fail your throw, lose one level of Rank.
25 As part of your rehabilitation, you are paired with an animal. Gain Handle Animals.
26-30 You need something that your fellow inmate won't give. If you try to steal it, roll Stealth 16+.If you succeed, you gain a DM+2 to your next Advancement roll and DM+1 to a Benefit roll. If you fail, the inmate notices the theft. Roll on the Injuries and Medical Coverage If you do not attempt it, you automatically fail your next Advancement roll.
31-36 You share with your fellow inmates a little of the skill you possess. Roll your highest skill 15+. If you succeed, the inmates learn something and appreciate it. Gain a Contact and +1 Soc. If you fail, the inmates feel you are making fun of them. Gain a Rival.Contacts, Allies, Rivals and Enemies
37-41 You are assigned to difficult or backbreaking labour. Roll Con 15+. If you fail, increase your Parole Threshold by +1. Succeed, and you may reduce your Parole Threshold by 1 and gain any one of the following skills: Acrobatics, Engineering, or Skill Restricted: Streetwise Wis
42 You are asked to help law enforcement break a smuggling ring. Throw Intelligence 15+ or Bluff 15+. If you succeed, gain one Investigate or Skill Restricted: Streetwise Wis If you fail, gain an Enemy.
43 You have a chance to get in on a risky venture. ThrowRestricted Skills: Gambling INT 15+ or Restricted Skill: Trader Wis 15+. If you succeed, gain an additional benefit throw. If you fail, lose one benefit throw.
44 You plan a prison riot as a distraction for someone else's operation. Increase Knowledge (Tactics) and gain contact.
45 Roll twice on theInjuries and Medical Coverage and take the lower result.
46-48 A news organization interviews you and gives you some pointers to make it more entertaining. Gain Craft (Art)
49-51 You embarrass a guard in front of the other inmates. Increase your Parole Threshold by +1, and increases SOC by +1
52 You are involved in complex negotiations for a psion release. Throw Education DC 15. If you succeed, gain +1 on one cash roll.
53 Roll 2D with a DM equal to the number of allies and Contacts you have. If you roll 15+, your connections get you freed and you owe a favor to each of your Allies and Contacts. If you fail, reduce your Parole Threshold by -1 and you own a favor when you get freed.
54 You have the opportunity to escape the prison. If you take this opportunity, roll either Stealth 16+ or Bluff 16+. Succeed, and you leave this career. Fail, and raise your Parole Threshold by +2
55 You are captured and interrogated by the enemy. You manage to escape or be rescued (or did they let you go...). Gain either Skill Restricted: Streetwise Wis or unarmed Combat Feat.
56-60 Prison Event. 1. Riot. A riot engulfs the prison. Roll 1d6. On a 1-2, you are injured – roll on the Injuries and Medical Coverage . On a 5-6, you are able to loot something useful; gain an extra Benefit roll this term. 2. New Contact. You make friends with another inmate; gain them as a Contact. Contacts, Allies, Rivals and Enemies 3. New Rival. You gain a new rival among the inmates or guards. 4. Transferred. You are moved to a different prison. Re-roll your Parole Threshold. 5. Good Behaviour. Reduce your Parole Threshold by -2. 6. You are attacked by another prisoner. Roll Attack roll to hit AC 15 with only your BAB. If you fail, roll on the Injuries and Medical Coverage
61 Parole hearing. Reduce your Parole Threshold by -1.
62 You have the chance to save a senior officer. If you take the chance, throw Dexterity 15+ If you fail, throw on the Injuries and Medical Coverage . If you succeed, gain an Ally, and an automatic promotion.
63 You have the opportunity to hire a new lawyer. He costs Cr1000x1d10. Roll 2D6 + the d10 number; on a 15+, reduce your Parole Threshold by 1D6.
64
65 Heroism. You have the opportunity to save a guard or prison officer. If you take the risk, roll 2D. On a 7 or less, roll on the Injury table. On 8+, gain an Ally and reduce your Parole Threshold by -2.
66 Your help out a guard without anyone knowing and he puts in a good word in, auto pass Parole check, you're out!
