Cedar, Chess, Frederick Glosband, and Ser Kerridin reunited with Ramona Otvos before teleporting to Zhilisky where they met Elveszett Fiú. Together, the Scofflaws investigated the Brotherhood of Autumn, narrowly avoiding detection in town when Chess was harassed by some of the Cultists, before raiding the Cinca Trading Company Warehouse. Within, they found the beginnings of a grand ritual involving massive amounts of Corpsebloom and the remains of hundreds of disappeared townsfolk. The warehouse burned down before the ritual could be completed, which prompted They-Who-Bring-Dusk to show themselves.
