The Magic of Machar

Gifted to humanity when the gods came to earth and walked among them, magic is abundant in Machar. Infused into every aspect of society, magic is viewed as a direct tie to the gods, and therefore possessing this ability elevates you above the status of the common human.
In order to wield magic, users must tap into their internal "wells" of Vi, opening up their awareness to the Vi flowing through whatever they have an affinity with.
Once empowered users can either manipulate existing forms of Vi or reshape Vi into new forms. These two types are generally called "Manipulative Magic" and "Generative Magic."
The types of magic found in each region is shaped by where each of the gods lived while on earth. Following the Pantheon War, and due to a large amount of civilian displacement, hybrid magic forms began to come into fruition. These abilities combined multiple gods powers into entirely new ones.
