Perhaps the most enigmatic person in Mordeo's borders, Colt is only known by his deeds, not by his personality or connections. To the general public, the man is little more than a myth, a whispered rumor of a "green ghost". To the upper echelon of Mordeo's elite, Colt is known as the surgical tool for The High Order, reserved to be used in only the most dire of situations.Early Life
Born to a minor noble family in the Araluen Empire, Colt's family fled the nation as civil strife became abundant under the new rule of Rhys Duncan. As the political climate became more and more unstable in the northern nations, his family found themselves taking refuge within the borders of Mordeo. In an effort to comform with the nation's customs, Colt (born as Caelan Bell) was delivered to Akat for Divination School. It was here where he began to develop the new identity of Colt. Progressing through the years as an exemplary student, even amongst other prodigys such as Vernan Slynt, Caelan Bell caught the eye of the Exorcist Sect. Caelan's identity as an outsider made social connections difficult, forcing him to adopt methods of manipulation, deciet, and secrecy, all highly sought after skills for an Exorcist.Career
Under the tutelage of the Exorcist Sect, Caelan revoked his given name, adopting the persona of Colt. Through the years of training, Colt began to show his true potential as an influential figure of Mordeo. Finding the training of the Exorcists to play to his greatest strengths, Colt quickly rose in status among his peers, even before his graduation. Under his unnamed master, Colt participated in several noteworthy excursions such as Battle of Loset Pass, Siege of Dragon's Mouth, and several excursions into Narva's borders. By the time of his graduation, Colt was already considered among the elite of his Exorcist peers. In fact, his accomplishments were even recognized by the High Order, which extended the opportunity for the traditionally leaderless Exorcist Sect to promote Colt to sainthood. This offer was refused by Colt, who declared that sainthood among the sect went against their oath to the nation. Whilst Colt was never promoted to sainthood, he is widely considered the figurehead for the Exorcists, even against his wishes. By the time of his graduation, Colt had already been widely responsible for the safety of Mordeo's borders, along with several other key figures such as Saint Vernan Slynt and the High Priestess. It was no surprise to his peers that when the time came for his assignment as an independent Exorcist, Colt was given the capital city, Akat. To this day, Colt remains at his post, conducting missions outside of Mordeo's borders, building the Exorcists' information network, and working closely with the other sects to promote the saftey of Morden culture against man and beast.Notables
