The History of Gokrenxia so far

For hundreds of years, the Elves ruled Gokrenxia. With the rise of humans and more recent expansion of Vath'azen, the once great Elven empire has largely crumbled. It is not uncommon to find the remnants of that once all-encompassing Elven age of glory.

Current Species & Cultures

Broadly, the races of Gokrenxia are broken into two generailzed species, broken into many different species: the Myndikin - encompassing the Elves, Dwarves, and Humans - and the animal-like Kynekin in their many forms.

Needs & Relations

Elves

Reduced to their last kingdom, suffering from overcrowding, under-resourced, and with a rampant drug epidemic, the Elves are simply trying to stay alive. Their greatest resource are their schools of magic, once offered only to the elite. Their long coastline allows for lucrative sea trade, but it was hardly a skill they cared about when they had others doing the work for them.

Humans

The humans have ammased several Kingdoms since the end of the Great War, but each of these Kingdoms has their own issues to deal with. They are in most need of stability, alliances, and agreements to keep the peace. The humans are in a cold war against one another, and the Vath'azen, building up arms to protect what they have.

Dwarves

To break the stalemate for what house should take the mantle. To get there though, they need the support of the surrounding Kingdoms as Kynekin push deeper in the mountain strongholds from the North.

Kynekin

Tensions and grudges still simmer just below the surface against them. In order to survive, they need to show the world they are more than their animalistic appearance. They need to show negotiation, civility, compromise, and openness. They need to establish their own identities. Only time will tell if that will come to pass.
