Third Journal Entry
3rd of Autumn

Dear Journal,   Today was a pretty good day. This morning, Jordan showed me some moves with my new sword which was amazing! We then packed up to leave when Eadmond said he wanted to stay. Lord Songsparrow told us he's 2 months older than us which apparently means he's not in any danger so that's good but I'm sad that he won't be with us anymore. But at least he's happy in Mountains Crossing. He did cook a bunch of food for our adventure. He made my favorite dishes! So as we were leaving, the guy who tried mugging me showed up with a bunch of fake guards and tried to stop us at the gate. He was such a loser! I cracked some jokes at him, Jordan shot some arrows at him, and Songsparrow incapacitated him almost immediately. The rest of the guards were terrified and gave up! I can't believe they're so weak! Lady Nartell and Songsparrow started questioning him and said something about working with Greya and wanting us. But no reasons why. They were promptly arrested and we left. Lord Songsparrow told us that Greya is a force of evil that is trapped away and wants to break free and corrupt the world to its will. And maybe we have something to do with it? But Lady Nortell and Lord Songsparrow aren't telling us why. I got a feeling they aren't telling us everything... We set camp halfway towards Two Spires and Jordan and I had sword lessons from Songsparrow. He made things difficult! He made me use a sharp stick for practice and made us do these weird poses slowly. Like, how can moving slowly with a pointy stick gonna help me survive against evil magic monsters!? So here we are in the middle of the woods, having a bunch of amazing food, with several bruises, going to sleep by the campfire. We'll see how tomorrow turns out. I hope we can find Dgym and Wes.

Second Adventure Journal Entry
2nd of Autmn

Dear Journal,   Well... We woke up early in the morning to an attack of more of those monsters... We narrowly escaped. In fact, Djym, Wes, Jordan and Lord Songsparrow got separated from us. We got to the next town, a massive place called Mountain's Crossing. Luckily Jordan and Lord Songsparrow caught up with us. They were having a Harvest Festival of their own so I enjoyed myself while Jordan and Lord Songsparrow left to try and find Djym and Wes. I'm worried for Djym, even if he has a creepy staff that scares Mr. Badger. I wish Wes had just stayed in Valley Guard he's been nothing but a burden his whole life. Still, I don't want him dead. I checked out the local blacksmith and he had NOTHING on my master. He was practically begging me to help him on the forge. And since he was offering money, I accepted. He let me keep of the swords and gave me 4 gold! I felt so lucky I played a dice game and won 20 gold! A dude I wasn't paying attention to tried to rob me as I left but I managed to tell him off. He dropped another coin bag he probably stole and it had 40 gold! This is definitely the most money I've ever had! I kinda felt bad having so much money that I didn't earn. But not enough to try and find who's money it is HAHAHAHA! I split it with some of my friends. Hopefully we can use it for our adventure and find Djym and Wes.

First Adventure Journal Entry
1st of Autumn

Dear Journal,   Today has been a very busy day! And even more exciting than expected!! The Harvest Festival started and I was having a lot of fun with my friends. We tried out the archery competition and I was sure I was gonna win! But Jordan and Mal narrowly beat me! Jordan went on to win our age group and the next! It was CRAZY! So we were chilling at our usual spot by the stable when a couple of very rich and powerful looking people came to town AFTER the merchants arrived! They told us the merchants were lying and the prophecies were coming true and the world might be ending. That killed the partying vibes but we tried to keep eating. Up until these weird monster things came out and started attacking us. Two of the nobles came over and helped save us. Their names were Lady Nortell and Lord Songsparrow. They said that my friends and I were the only one attacked, all our houses burned down! Thank God my mom survived. They said if we left with them, we could save our town from being attacked ever again and I had to help the town and trust the ones who saved me so we left with them. Right now I'm camped out in the middle of the forest, possibly surrounded by more of those monsters. But I feel safe with these adults. This is the farthest away I've been from home yet I feel excited this adventure I'm on with my friends. I feel more confident I've ever been! With my friends we can do anything!

The Goodbye Letter to Mother
2020 10th of Autumn

Dear Mother,   The Lord and Lady Sparrowsong have told us me and my friends that we need to go with them for the safety of the village. They think whatever has attacked us is related to us and I trust them. We're going to another place to investigate what they are why they attacked. I hope it's not like that the stories say but those are just legends right? I don't wanna leave the village but if I can save lives, I'll do whatever I can. I can't tell you where we're going I wish I could but we'll be back as soon as we can. I can already imagine you worrying about me but I'll try being as safe as I can. Mister Badger will protect me! And I'll be strong like Oliver. Don't think of this as a goodbye. So... See you later. And that's a promise!   P.S. Please tell the Master Blacksmith I'll be busy for a few weeks. I'll try coming back with good metal!

Mister Badger's First Birthday
2020 10th of Summer

Dear Journal,   Today is Mister Badger's first birthday! At least the anniversary from when I found him. He was such a little thing he couldn't have been older than two weeks! Thank goodness I found him though. He was all alone in a storm and I couldn't let him die! I took care of him and taught him to be "friendly" and he has continued to protect me tirelessly. The first time he scared off a black bear was very intimidating, even for me! So with today being his birthday, I've decided to cook up a kidney pies with blueberries and some mead I stole from the local drunk while he slept. Mister Badger likes honey so I hope he likes a little mead. I know I do! A lovely feast for my best friend!
