Sandpoint Glassworks

Sandpoint Glassworks is one of the oldest industries in Sandpoint, dating back to the first days of its existence. Owned and operated by the Kaijitsu Family, one of Sandpoint's co-founding noble families. With methods learned and refined in Tian Xia, the Sandpoint Glassworks are widely renowned for the high quality of their products, which are even demanded outside of Varisia's boundaries.
The Glassworks is a large stone building combining the actual factory with a shop in which potential customers can examine the wares before buying them. When in operation, large plumes of smoke come out of the massive furnace chimney.

If your Character has Knowledge(Local) or Knowledge(history) +6 or more she knows that despite firm denials by the Kaijitsus, decades ago the Glassworks basement was used by smugglers to smuggle and hide illegal materials and substances. The smugglers dug tunnels from the basement to the coast. When Raukuro Kaijitsu (Lonjiku's father) discovered the tunnels he blocked them up with brick walls.
