Harbour Warden & Otari Fishery Owner

Tamily Tanderveil turned her back on what could have been a lucrative position as a captain among the Grey Corsairs to retire to a safer job here in Otari - the loss of a leg during a raid on a pirate ship having convinced her that serving as a harbour warden would be a wiser choice for her longevity. The jolly and irreverent Tamily maintains a growing collection of peg legs for various occasions that she regularly swaps out. Every night, from an hour before sundown to an hour before midnight, Tamily opens up the fishery's ground floor to sailors, labourers and travellers for games, snacks and entertainment.
Tamily is hugely popular within the community due to her gregarious and generous nature. Over the last couple of years a number of townsfolk have attempted to convince her to throw her hat in the ring when the mayoral elections come up again, but the desire for a simple life has prevented her from running for office thus far.

9th Sarenith 4721AR: Four individuals, Zana, Zakiya, Jacobius and Cori each answered an advert looking for adventurers to help clear the basement below the Otari Fishery as stored fish has recently been going missing. On meeting Tamily, the adventurers, who she jokingly referred to as the Fisheries Four,found her to be effervescent in personality, clearly very popular and quite generous as her 10 measures payment seemed more than fair for such as task. Tamily seemed sharp-witted, with a playful sense of humour. After returning from a days adventuring having cleared the majority of the first level, Tamily paid each party member 3 weights (gp)

11th Sarenith 4721AR: The Fisheries Four arrive at the Otari Fishery early and are greeted by Tamily. She introduces them to Bogdan who joins their party, informing them of his conversation with Jacobius the previous night and his singing of their exploits of two days ago in his song A Rockfish Ode to Luck. She also informs them of Wrin's desire to speak to them before commencing exploration.
After they return from the tunnels and inform them of the potential Green Dragon situation, Tamily suggests a cessation of exploration and informs them that both she and others from the town, have potential work for them and should meet her and other town luminaries this evening in the Rowdy Rockfish.

12th to 15th Sarenith 4721AR: After the meeting with Tamily, Oseph Menhemes, Wrin Sivinxi and Jon Gallentine The Rockfish Club take a break from exploring beneath the Otari Fishery and instead head out to Gauntlight Keep on the behest of Wrin Sivinxi. They liaise with Tamily after returning from the Keep, agreeing to a meeting a couple of days later to discuss what their next plans are.
The party seem to warm to her more upon each meeting, finding her supportive, likeable and upbeat

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Missing leg aside, Tamily is in excellent physical health. She is small in stature, standing just 5'3", but big in personality. Slight of build but her demeanour and curves catch the eye of many that frequent the Fishery.

Facial Features

Pale skinned, rosy cheeked and freckled is not our typical Taldan  features, but rumours of her grandfather not being her grandfather, but in fact a Chelaxian merchant may account for this. The biggest feature of her face is her ever present smile. Regardless of what's occurring, Tamily is rarely phased and always glass half full and her expression reflects this.

Identifying Characteristics

It's hard to miss paprika red hair and almost as red freckles, but people often remember her smile before remembering these features

Physical quirks

Tamily doesn't walk like someone with a wooden leg, with no obvious change from a standard gait, although she occasionally adds an exaggerated limp when playing for gags

Apparel & Accessories

Sometimes it's loose fitting shirts and skirts, though recently she's taken to short leather breeches or skirts, ornamental peg legs and tighter/tailored cut tops. Her wardrobe is extensive so difficult to pin down a singular look, though comfort is as much key as fashion. There's always colour, though it tends to be paler colours, though if trying to impress she tends to wear green
