Scarlet Rift

Geography

Residing at the centermost point of the Crimson Sea the Rift itself slopes harshly down into a rocky basin. Due in part to the constant winds and sandstorm surrounding the Scarlet Rift most of the area surrounding the center are devoid of most sand having been stripped long ago.

Localized Phenomena

The Scarlet Rift is known by many due to the constant massive sandstorm that surrounds the center of the Sea in which the rift was named. Many have tried to breach the moving wall of wind and sand to little success with even the Mages finding magic chaotic in the region.
