Graz'zt
(a.k.a. the Bright Lord)
Born from the primordial darkness of the Abyss, Graz'zt is one of the mightiest of Daemon Lords, and together with Orcus and Demogorgon forms the triumvirate that rules the Abyss. He is a manifestation of debauchery, hedonism, masochism, egotism, pleasure and pain. He is the god that the selfish who desire only their own fulfillment seek out, and he is a god everyone secretly worships in their heart.

Graz'zt, alongside Orcus, was born from the corpse of the Abyss when Gargath One-Eye ripped it to pieces. These brothers, born in a moment of cosmic darkness and death, hated eachother instantly. Orcus represented the death of all things and desired to end the world, while Graz'zt wished to experience all the world had to offer.
Graz'zt took to walking the dark places of the earth, his strange innocence and seeming mortality allowing him to walk alongside mortals. He saw the horrible things mortals did to eachother for hate, love and sadness, and he saw that he could make their lives better. He would touch the broken and heal them, he would console the grieving and he would calm down those who rage. But in all things he placed seeds of darkness. The jealous lover he consoled by killing his competition, the dancer who hated her body he made happy by taking away her desire to eat, so she could finally feel beautiful as she wasted away. The slave he set free by giving him a whip and power over other slaves, the writer who lacked inspiration suffered tragic losses so she could finally write something worth remembering.
In this way Graz'zt learned to heal others in his own twisted way, and always gave people what they desired deepest down, whether they wanted it or not.
