Mistsea
The Mistsea is the ocean off the coast of the Duchy of East Sceya, so named due to the deep mists and fog that cover it most of the year. The Mistsea is full of small islands populated by pale humans, who mostly sustain themselves by fishing and trading inland with the East Sceyans. Legend has it that the mists spew forth from the sleeping mouth of an ancient seagod who slumbers in the depths.
Many of the islands have ancient wood elven ruins, and the mistborn live amongst these ruins away from the prying eyes of the rest of the world. It is nearly impossible for imperial ships to navigate the Mistsea, and only one safe passage is known through its umbral depths.
