Introduction to Humanity
The Humans are a race of machine worshipping zealots; fair tanned and often adorned with beards and long beaded hair ranging in colours from dark blacks and lighter browns often glossy. Beads and earrings made of bronze and wood painted with gloss greys to look like steel. Leaders often showing large tattoos made up of geometric shapes and curved lines, denoting both their rank and occupation. Lowest ranked men and women often have almost no adornings and sometimes wear temporary war paints; whereas the higher ranked men and women often are covered in tattoos and piercings - the highest priests skin almost appears black.
Civilisation and Culture
Religion
They worship a massive rover-like vehicle although they don't know that it's a vehicle, it contains a post-singularity hyper intelligent AI that only speaks in binary. The people who worship it do not speak binary, some of the highest level priests understand a very small amount which is how they know it is communicating at all but still it's communications are very much shrouded in mystery. Always at the one screen in the rover is many men scribing down every one and zero passed through the screen and everytime a repeating pattern is found, it is catalogued among the many other 'words' they have found, they worship a messiah like saviour named The Lord General a man from a far off dimension who warned them of the demons that drove them from their home and fought valiantly to slow their advance.Major language groups and dialects
There are two main languages amongst humans; Hyahzekk and English. Hyahzekk is spoken by the common people, it is the original language they have spoken for thousands of years and English was brought to the land by The Lord General who spoke it when they arrived and it was learned as a semi-holy tongue only spoken by the most high ranked government officials and priests. It was considered so holy, partially for the fact that it could be written down whereas they don't have a writing system for Hyahzekk, they found the ability to write down English, as close to the binary of The Rover considering it a 'Twenty Sixary' language.History
Pre-flight
Before the flight, not much is known as they did not have a writing system. What is known passed down from oral tradition is that, what are called 'The First Men' were created from The Rover and learned to shape the land, they told their children to grow crops and cut wood and offer it to The Rover. So their children and their children's children all did so until a man came, birthed from two that could trace their lineage directly to The First Men, who after visiting the capital and seeing The Rover was blessed with the knowledge of smelting bronze. He shared that knowledge with all of the people, telling them to smelt bronze and offer it to The Rover and so, at the age of fifty on his deathbed, he was brought to The Rover, which blessed him with a holy leg of steel and he went on to rule the people for another fifty years, named 'The First Lord'. Then in three hundred years time a man with a holy arm came to them from the west; speaking in an unfamiliar tongue. Once they were able to communicate, he said "Devils come from the west, to desolate and consume. To shower us, in all that is unholy. Unless we are to be butchered like cattle, we must run or fight." He was named 'The Second Lord' and 'General'. He was also blessed by The Rover after almost being killed by the devils in the west. He was blessed with a holy eye - that could see all that was unseen by others. And a metallic mask that covered the majority of his face with steel.Post-Flight
After setting sail they first landed on The Mantara Isles - the home of the Bavugai, being stranded there in low tide and skirmishing with the Bavugai when they came in contact with various parties of hunters. After such a time they sailed back out into the ocean, driven off by the Bavugai, setting their course to continue east and landed on the coasts of The Tri Cities and the Jal-Kuc desert. The Kley did not battle nor skirmish with them and after a long time of knowing each others existence they learned to communicate and the King of Anuk-Jaklyjy struck an accord with them, allowing them to set up towns and villages in his territory. They grew a connection with the Gorakin, now some of the humans worship Gora instead of The Rover, the Gorakin see some power in The Rover and in The Lord General, but still disapprove of anyone who worships something other than Gora.Their position on magic, is that objects infused with Essence are considered holy since they are much like the steels and bronzes given to them by The Rover and men who can make Essence infused objects are considered of the highest rank but they think that casting spells and using Essen and Essence Liquor is a sacrilegious act of the highest heretic order as The Rover made them in a perfect form for their purpose. Which they do not yet know.
During the skirmishes with the Bavugai, 50 soldiers were lost and only 2 Bavugai were killed, both killed by The Lord General and ever since relations with the Bavugai have been tense, although an official apology was written by the king of The Mantara Isles after request from Anuk-Jaklyjy

Lifespan: 30-40 years
Height; Male: 5'4 Female: 5'0
Humans are considered adults at the age of 14, they can be apprentices at the age of 12.
Their burial traditions: they don't bury their dead - instead they put the corpses on 'Roving Carts' which return to the capital city, where The Rover is and offer it to them. In return The Rover provides them with fertiliser that is the most powerful and nutrient-dense in all the land, which is extremely valuable.
