Fumble Kyloop
Fumble Kyloop, is proprietor and manager of The Bountiful Cup tavern (formerly The Flametongue Lounge) in Bramble. He is a blue dragonborn war hero, now in forced retirement.
Friend of the Isagorn, Fumble fought at the "4th Battle of Narfell," aiding the entrenched Isagorn against an incursion by the usurper king of Wyeth (who temporarily took the throne when the Freemntle revolted against the crown). When Jothan Wyeth reclaimed the throne, he pardoned those who stood against an “unjust crown” but delivered a punishment of exile from public service.
When the crown would not honor the retirement funds for veterans of that particular battle, The Isagorn made good on the broken promise of their neighbors. The Flametongue Lounge was bought with these Isagorn retirement funds, although Fumble recently had to join up with the owner of "The Sundered Boar Inn" (and, consequently, was forced to change the tavern's name), in order to stay in business when his funds began to dwindle.
Fumble misses his former life, though he hates taking lives. He missed the "high" of combat. He would die for his Isagorn friends, but knows he must keep his feelings hidden, as they are not socially accepted in this region.
Fumble lives vicariously through his friend, the infamous (fearless/guileless or clueless depending upon who you ask) Talask Letkan, Isagorn officer prime of the Inquest, Narfell House of Criminal Inquiry. Talask and his "assistant", the goblin Sneg, can often be found drinking (for free) in The Bountiful Cup.
