Half Elves

Half Elves are the somewhat rare union of elves and man (or possibly humanoid), most common in Hariel Minuta. Of the different species of elves, the Kelti are most likely to mate outside of their species. Solti half elves are far more rare, due to the haughty nature of the Winter Elves. Very few Qualenti half elves are known to exist, but it is suspected they may be far more common in the Underdark of Lentokk's Deepening Pits. Half elves are generally accepted in polite society, but tend to find a warmer reception amongst humans, over elves. This is likely due to the fact that many humans revere elves as "the beautiful folk," whereas most elves do not return the sentiment. As far as racial abilities go, they follow those in the Player's Handbook precisely.
