Personal history
As the middle child, Benjamin was born to his parents Leila and Hans Ravenswood and was destined to become the head of the house and later a mage, to carry out the Taivahantaival blood with Ravenswood name.
Benjamin has always struggled with his looks and being mixed race. He always felt that he was too human to be like the norster but at the same time not human enough to be along other humans.
On top of being "only half human" he was very self conscious of his appearance. In his early teens, right before his magic manifested he noticed that his ears had grown slightly pointy. Ben was devastated as his sister Susanna totally missed the ears and looked overall human but he was "being punished" with norster looks. Ben was struck with severe body dysphoria and was caught trying to cut his ears but was stopped by his mother who then convinced him to not be ashamed of his heritage.
Ben partly accepted himself but grew longish hair to hide his ears.
Growing up with a norster sister, Johanna, helped Ben a little and of course befriending Prince Garen Solowin, who accepted him completely.
Benjamin studied in Whitemere for 10 years and then had his military training and mage apprenticeship in the north.
When the war began his mothers death drove him to rage and vengeance so he joined the ranks of the new Resistance movement as a battlemage. He was was captured during one of the attacks and enslaved by the Kingdom. Ben became the slave of his childhood friend Garen Solowin. Ben arrived to serve Garen E4 154 14.7.
