Hana
The Spellmother
Sister of Brava, Hana (Haw-Nah) represents the Moon. She is only one half of a whole divine being, with both sisters representing darkness and light. The commonly accepted tale is that the two sisters made their ascension sacrifice in the form of each other. They are doomed to never meet again, with each sister dying as she sets and being reborn anew as she rises each day. Some cultures interpret the two as lovers instead of sisters and some even consider them as two parts of the same being split in two.
Some say that Hana represents the dark side of the two sisters, calming and quiet. Hana represents relaxation, meditation, reflection, endings, partings and calmness.Hana is the patron god that most wizards, sorcerers, and spellcasters pray to. She is often called the Spellmother by devout followers.
Depictions of her in statues and art often show a woman with a silver crown, holding a crescent moon between two outstretched hands. There are no popular tales of Hana being physically manifested, but the moon in the sky is considered her manifestation that gazes down upon her followers each and every night.
Churches of Hana are often found in the form of Colleges of Magic and are places for spellcasters of all sorts to congregate and discuss their research. Prayers to the Spellmother are said in hopes that rituals will succeed, spells won't go haywire and inspiration will strike.

Holidays
The mages of the Arcane College of Nil-Lavent celebrate Spellspent, a festival held on the last day of the Lunar Year (springtime), during the full moon. This festival is in celebration of the ending of another schoolyear and the many spells they learned that year. As such, the festivities are often chaotic and filled with countless enchantments and spells, though rules are in place to avoid any danger.
Lights and sparks fly through the city, instruments play themselves in the streets, walls are covered in paintings that disappear by morning. The mages laugh and dance and drink throughout the night, sharing stories of magical inventions, incantations and experiments they attempted throughout the year.
