Kala

A vacuum of nothingness, located outside all of which has existed, exists, and will exist. Also known as the Ethereal void, The Black can be a dwelling place for the true essence of Chaos, as nothing is established there. Those who are banished to this realm, have been judged that their essence is useless to the cosmic order, and therefore have been rendered without form or purpose. However, souls who willingly seek the amnesty of chaos from the order that has been established by the gods, and achieve it by reaching this point, exist as Kaleans who seek knowledge free from the divine order. It is also theorized by certain scholars that the Creator himself, in his metaphysical form dwells here outside of the influence of time, and dreams, giving HIM the ability to will all of existence into reality separate from the Chaos of the Black.


Divinities The Dark Chanters

• A small pantheon of spirits, of mysterious origin that speak to those who seek guidance from the mystery of the black (they either are Kaleans, or planar natives from ancient times who eventually amassed divine power the In-Between of the Ethereal Planes. They are mainly sought after for knowledge of the inner workings of the universe including arcenergy (magic) and its attributes.

• Petitioners of the black, who lived their past life in true confusion and meaninglessness, and as a result was turned into form of their own choosing; typically a half-melted reclection of their mortal selves

Kaleans

• Natives of the black that are denizens of true chaos and formlessness of mind and philosophy. They hold the truest definition of open mindedness, as there is no relativity to any of their ideas or values, the only thing that stand true to simply the existence of knowledge. Due to this, they are seek knowledge on whatever stance imaginable based on their philosophies. The congregate in the form organized and yet discrete choruses that gather under the goal of finding the answer to a question in complexity from trivial to simply so complex that only the gods can give answers..
