In response to the aggressive actions of The Kingdom of Irogonie against the peoples of The Lamas Plains, The Kingdom of Somercrag began making preparations to mobilise its armies beyond The Witwell Mountains for the first time.
In The City of Bayglen ser Sola Somercrag, the crown princess and Marshal of the kingdom's armies gathered to her a number of knights who would ride beside her to war under The Royal Standard of House Somercrag, both defending her and executing her strategies in the field. This band became known as Sola's Vanguard.
