The Guild

The Guild, sometimes also called the Thieves Guild as clarification, is a criminal organisation concentrated in the Free City of Greyhawk and neighbouring lands, known for their nefarious activities.

Description

Is is assumed that the Guild has been around since the independence of Greyhawk in 498 CY, and likely before that as well. Since then, its activities have spread out into neighbouring lands, with reports of Guild activity reaching as far as Keoland in the west and Almor in the East.
Little is known about the leadership of the Guild itself, as its structure is heavily compartimentalised with lower members reporting back to higher ones, and so on.
Their activities include but are not limited to: theft, smuggling, extortion, blackmailing, bribery, kidnapping, forgery, and are thought to influence other guilds and even national politics.
