Half Elves

Before the Era of Expansion, Humansand Elves rarely interacted. Elves saw the humans as brash and arrogant, while humans saw the elves as aloof and closed minded. Pairings of these peoples, while not unheard of, are rare in Etharis. During the Era of Expansion, half-elves were cast out by both sides as they were accused of spying for the enemy.
They began a life of wandering Etharis. While they could act as a natural intermediary between humans and elves, they kept the burden on their soul well hidden. They wear a mask of happiness, dressing with jewelry and bright colors, often having a flamboyant and optimisic attitude. If one can befriend a half elf, they will see the wanderers sorrow, never calling any place home.
