This first skirmish defined the beginning of the war between the Republic of Rauhir and the Aelgari Empire.

The Republic was mostly afraid of their neighbor, hoping that they would be ignored in the ongoing expansion. However, this first invasion on the western border of the Republic of Rauhir forced their senate into declaring war and gathering troops for a defensive force.
