The brainchild of Madame Grindylow, Grindylow's Skeeball & Breaded Fish Emporium is a popular fast food franchise.

Cuisine

The chain is most known for their breaded and fried Mermaid nuggets, kebabs, and Breaded "Fish" Sticks. This is a specialty unique to Grindylow’s Skeeball and Breaded Fish Emporium.

Branding

Grindylow's offers a “kid-friendly” experience similar to Chuck-E-Cheez. It is known for its animatronic cast of characters:

• Grinda the Mermaid
• Fin the Merman
• Hushpuppy

Atmosphere

• They have a rather large mermaid displayed on a plaque above the prize desk. When the button is pressed, it sings “smoke on the water”.
• While in the Grindylow's itself, the player's Peeve will rudely opt to play skeeball rather than accompany the player into the sewers. If allowed, it will spend the player's money on skeeball at a set rate, multiplied by time spent in the sewers. After a set amount is reached, the peeve suddenly produces a wad of tickets. These can be exchanged for a high-end item: wand, robes, and hat.
• The clerk behind the prize desk is twitchy and has wild hair. (e.g. Beaker the Muppet.) Whenever something goes out of whack, they are required to try repairing it before paying for repair. Invariably, the clerk is electrocuted every single time. The animatronics in particular have a reputation for shorting out or exploding, due in part to the damp environment.
