Leaving the Nest

Episode 2 

When it comes to mastering the art of the Meako, the early bird gets the worm: and the race for Potha to master her powers and get ready to venture out of Loanua has begun.
Having met up with the demigod Haru, Potha visited the sites of Garadel and was able to use a magical scrying stone to view into the distant land of Sumaren. There, she was able to sneak a peak of a town where the Dryad population had been quarantined and seemed to be corrupted with some sort of strange parasitic vine that slowly transformed them into monsters.
The experience was enough to cement both Potha's identity as Halycon and Haru's need to get into the crisis zone to help. Haru left after giving Potha a few critical pieces of advice:

• To visit the Three immortals, but to be careful when visiting Suwota
• To be wary of the Lunar Pantheon
• To remember that even the apocalyptic forces included people, and that violence won't always be the answer

Potha was then able to double down on her studies, enjoying her final two years of the Minosa Forest School. She and Akada were able to bond over falconry, Amoa learned to cook, and wacky hijinks ensued.
All things must come to an end, though. It seems that trouble is brewing in the Kingdom of Analona to the East, threatening Potha's home with the Sarana tribe. And after years with the Forest School, it was time to begin work as a Meako- theory just won't cut it anymore.
After a wild rager and some strange visions, Potha has hit the road with her two friends Akada and Eora. They venture together to investigate the trouble brewing in the East, but questions loom over the trio: How will Potha navigate her responsibility to her home and the world? Will Akada follow her heart abroad or stay to protect her home? How will they respond to the growing corruption? How will Eora deal with knowledge of the oncoming doomsday? Who will date who???

Eora: Daughter of the Priestess of the Sarana tribe, Eora is a charismatic beacon of joy (if a little unused to being outranked by someone). Very attached to Potha and aware of her nature as Halycon incarnate. Grappling with the terror of knowing the world is ending. Former member of Rabbit House
Akata: A daughter of a Meako officer in the Western military state of Huaka, Akata was the model girl of the Huakan military elite. Still deconstructing the trauma of growing up in a militarized society, Akata is learning to give others their space and communicate in a healthy way. Akata is still be disciplined, courteous, and ambitious, and sees Eora and Potha as inspirations to always improve herself. Currently stuck between her identity as a Meako and her desire to follow her crush(es?) out of the country. Former member of House Eagle.
Amoa: Prism from the Umaroa tribe of the Sarasuko group in Northern Loanua, Amoa is a rare example of a Prism training to be a Meako. Still a little shy but increasingly confident with herself, Amoa has a natural talent befriending animals and is quick to learn even as she falls behind in skills such as hunting or swordplay. Amoa has since blossomed into an herbalist and moonshiner, mastering the ultimate party drink for when you want to lose your mind. Possibly going to teach at Minosa in the future. Coco and Cobi: Potha's moa and falcon respectively. Coco is a moa with a sweet tooth that is unusually friendly for a moa; Cobi is a falcon with a sense of determination. 
Katala: Potha's childhood friend and young merchant of the Sarana tribe, Katala is likely going to meet up with Amoa to market her more innovative drinks.
