Ledari

Ledari is a language spoken by the Froslak people throughout the continents of Kingour and Dalashiel. The language is native to these continents, being a combination of various native languages from various Froslakian clans. It is a guttural language, denoted by its harsh pronunciation and general lack of flow or rhythm, rather being fairly disorganized and disjointed. This is due to it originating from the combination of various local languages from numerous Froslak clans as well as its origins from languages used in rituals and to tell stories, not necessarily meant for complete everyday use. This is combined with more recent influence, within the last two millennia, from Faitilic speaking peoples to create the strange and disjointed Ledari tongue. This is due to an invasion by the collapsed Valaris Empire against the clans of Dalashiel and Kingour, which led to a few hundred years of cultural blending between Ceiglic, Faitilic, and Ledari speaking peoples. While Ledari is still a common tongue in Kingour and Dalashiel, Ceiglic and Faitilic are equally as common and widely spoken in these regions.
