Personal history
Growing up in a house full of protective brothers made Bethany feel untouchable. So she grew bold and brash and as her mother would put it “Undisciplined.” A non starter for the next Rootlord. But Bethany had the advantage of having her bonding complete at a very young age. Rainbow was a godsend and she knew everything and anything - a scholar by her own right.
So, as she grew up Bethany learned to be what her mother expected of her, and grew quieter, more contemplative and responsible. Learned to take extensive notes on all sorts of things as her own memory was slippery to her and there were so many things to remember and keep track of.
Particularly heavy was the duty of helping her mother rule the Western Rootlands. A task and duty she took on nearly as soon as her mother could convince her to sit still long enough to attend meetings. Bethany learned the intricate rules of trade and the protection of al sorts of people. It wasn’t long before she became a champion of the downtrodden and minority groups in the kingdom. Opening Japhoon up to all who wanted a refuge.
Her passion on this front has made her an icon for such groups and she has found ally’s and friends among them.
When she turned old enough to consider gaining further education, She asked her mother to allow her to study at the Royal Acadamy of Magic; But, was allowed to do so only after completing schooling at the prestigious United Cities Academy in Japhoon.
