Taro (Tarr-o)
God of Everlast & Last
Aspects: Death, Rebirth, Destiny
As the worshiped god of Death and Rebirth, Taro is a unique god. He is depicted as a shadow, or a fox, in religious motifs. The strange intersection of birth and death is a place shared with grief and happiness. A paradox. This is why Taro's worshipers are among those who have held the greatest sorrows, and those who have found renewed purpose or destiny following such events.
Midwifes, Healers, and Mourners are among Taro's worshiping devote.
The Festival of The Honored Dead, finds Taro at it's center once a year at the end of winter. A day to remember those who you've lost. This is done by creating songs, poems, trinkets, and food. All of which are shared and enjoyed among the community in a great feast.
