The mask grants the wearer +30 darkvision. Telepathic sending and receiving ranges are doubled for the wearer, but the mask does not itself grant telepathy.

Once donned, jarring visions of evil in a dark abyss flash before the wearer's eyes. When equipping, suffer d6 psychic damage, Wis DC 15 save to avoid damage which also makes the mask invisible while it is worn, +5 if Evil.
