Canadia

Nice girl. Cute, too. Too bad she's a fucking Canadian.
Reginald Howell, Founder and CEO of Hegemony International
C
anadia is the common term amongst all  Hegemony International employees for the country of Canada. It is the sole country on the entire planet that has no official Hegemony footprint. The company has no offices in Canadia. Nor are they legally allowed to sell any of their goods or services there.

Reginald Howell
This slight bastardization of "Canada" is known to emanate from Reginald Howell himself. When Canadian Royal Enterprises arose as his company's chief rival, he began using "Canadia" in place of "Canada" - and anyone who wanted to maintain their position in the company swiftly followed suit. He hasn't been recorded using the country's proper name in nearly a century. Canadian citizens often chafe at this mispronunciation, but Hegemony's reach is so far and so deep across the rest of the world that the use of "Canadia" is now commonplace, even amongst those completely outside of Hegemony.

Slur
In Hegemony's corporate culture, branding someone as "Canadian" is the gravest of slurs (even if that person really is from Canadia). It's the accuspeak equivalent of calling someone an asshole or a douchebag. When Howell says the word "Canadian", it's apparent that he's equating the target with something far... worse.

Ostracized
Owing to anti-discrimination laws present in most countries, Hegemony has no official policy about the country or its citizens. Unofficially, the fastest way to be eliminated from consideration for employment in the company is for them to find out that you're Canadian - or that you have any ties to the country whatsoever. Even once someone is employed at Hegemony, they'll swiftly be rooted out if it's ever discovered that the person has Canadian roots.
