Accuspeak

Hegemony International's latest corporate prospectus is an artfully-crafted 50,000-word magnum opus - that ultimately doesn't say a goddamn thing.

A
ccuspeak is a specialized patois that's evolved within  Hegemony International. It's not so much a language as it is a vast collection of corporately-accepted terms which hold favor in all internal communications. Amongst Hegemony's management, accuspeak is not an optional vernacular. Those who fail to pepper their speech with the appropriate accuspeak equivalents are frowned upon. Corporate documents are fastidiously checked to ensure accuspeak compliance. Starting with the company's founder, Reginald Howell, and filtering down through all management levels, accuspeak isn't simply considered to be a lexical choice. Rather, it is stridently enforced as the "right" way to speak.
