Landmarks: Thetmis and Disra
The cities of Thetmis and Disra (the Sun and Moon cities respectively) were built by the Old Folk millions of years ago as their first ever strongholds. It is in the city of Disra (built within Thetmis) where Patrick-the-Engine resides. The cities reside in the Land-of-The-People, where the common people live.
Purpose / Function
The original purpose of the ctities was to act as a home for the Folk, and to house Patrick-the-Engine safely. The cities were also where the first few weapons of the Old Folk were made before the foundation of the Factory.
Alterations
Over time the cities were used differently from their original purpose. Now they are almost exclusively trade-cities.
Architecture
Architecture ranges from mud-huts to marble mansions with white fences, whitewashed walls, ocean-blue roofs, bright red doors and tinted windows. These mansions are owned by the richer common people.
History
Made by the Folk in 800,000 DE, a few thousand years after the Folk slaughtered million of Yea'haa'weh after a war for the land. These massive hulks of granite and marble are essentially the most important cities in all of Heimland. Although mostly inhabited by the common people, it was once full of Folk and their various machines. Mechs would walk the streets, machines were as common as the Folk themselves and the two cities were generally described as "full of love and light". Now, like most of the settlements in Heimland, the two cities have lost their glory days and are now just artifacts of a much more beautiful time.
