Now she serves as the The Radiant's eyes and ears in Yabin as it's governor ensuring the all-important flow of Moon Drops to the capital, fueling the expansion of the Golem Legion and the guilds.

She is never seen without her faceplate, for since her early career she was struck by a curse during the siege of Fahdarm which supposedly scarred and disfigured her, since then she has hidden her appearance through heavy robes and her faceplate, now a symbol of great awe for the denizens of Rashim and terror to its enemies.

Curiously Aaliyah has never taken more than a single concubine; Carim, who has long served her as trusted adjutant, to many in court their relation is considered much to close, and irresponsible, for their failure to produce any heirs.
