Akmuran sand worm
The ancient beast is reclusive and prefers to dwell in deep dark places, where its slow metabolism can digest their query in peace, as such, many unfortunate explorers have encountered their end by such a beast, whether dwelling in ancient caves or forlorn ruins found beneath the sands.
Most commonly found in the Northern regions of Kathlam around the scorched land of Morkai’s Path.
Though they are highly sought after for their acid & fire-retardant shells/scales, and their incredibly acidic gunk which there is produced from two separate glands. These glands are highly sought after by both alchemists looking to extract this incredible acid and mages for their latent magical energies.
Some believe Akmuran Sand Worms to be an old Chimera species, basing the claim upon the creature's vestigial thumbs on its spiked legs.
