Matriarch of the Noreens, Alzahra has since youth proved to be the very epitome of a Noreen, elegant, intelligent and well spoken, Alzahra has proven uncannily ambitious and exploited many loop holes and relations to get her position, with many seeing but a young Noreen, allowed her to get close, only for her to betray their trust and elevate herself. Though this has marked her as ill-trusted individual in court, she is hailed as hero among the Noreens for she is the first among her family to become Ardent in over a century.
But in court she is viewed as much to dangerous to be trusted by most, and those who call upon her do so only out of desperation, but none can doubt her results and her dedication to Rashim for since her ascension she has toiled without end. This has left her an isolated and at times vulnerable individual in court, for there are few who dare rely on her for long, and fewer still willing to risk their neck for her.
