Darkani
Roughly translate to trustworthy, Darkani are vicious pack predators, they roam the deserts of Kathlam, their blubbery skin makes them harsh prey for moth creatures slashing claws find little purchase. Often called desert dogs by outsiders, by the notion that Karithi tribes keep them in a similar fashion as Northern hunting dogs, a notion while not far from the truth, belies the creatures savage nature, Darkani are not fully domesticated and need careful watch by their handlers. Wild Darkani can are vicious, as they require little water, and can even survive on blood and meat alone, they are willing to stalk prey for months until they attack. They gather in great groups and then overwhelm their opposition.
