Nostakn
Nostakn was once home to an elven kingdom, that was scattered with the coming of the good king Korvand, as he burned the wretches cities and homes, that they would never again threaten to enslave the good people of Korvland. In this cause did the king unleash the weapon which had brought the nobles to heel, It broke the magical barriers and woeful spells they flung at the good king’s forces. The great weapon tore and ripped the land apart, the weapon left scars too deep and terrible and was sealed away.
The hilly and prosperous highlands of Nostakn support a few scattered towns and the city of Aleththor, the old elven city overlooking the lowlands now often called the glassland, for the great scar the horrible weapon which Korvand unleashed on the elven cities and armies. The lands are torn of life, the earth blackened, and patches eternally glassed over from terrible heat, perpetual storms of unstable energy sweeps the desecrated land, ancient elven ruins dot the landscape, cracked and deteriorated by the ages, the old blast marks make manifest the inhabitants last moments. Many call Nostakn the cursed land, for the devastation that can be seen on the land. But it is also an opportunity that the league cannot pass up, for the wild energies that roar through the glasslands are chased and harvested for engines of war.
