Parliment of Khorum
The Parliment of Khorum was made to ensure that each of the Social classes of the city have a way to express their needs so that the all of the city has a voice. The Parliment can trace it's origen back to the legendary Mage Lord Khorum himself, who established it to help him govern the holdings of the great city. Though much of Khorum's holdings have diminished since it's establishment to the ravaging Sjeri, the importance of the Parliment has increased, as a tool to ensure that the tensions of the city does not boil over, as it becomes ever more cramped.
Structure
The Parliment of Khorum is structured into what is called Pillars, a Pillar is suppose to represent a part of Khoranite society, to ensure that all have some level of representation within the Parliament, though it is not uncommon to see some mage guilds having agents in multiple Pillars.
Pillars
Pillar of Craftmen
The Pillar of Craftmen is exclusive for golem crafters, for they are the greatest masters of Khorum, their voice and advice is greatly respected as the closest link to Legendary Khorum. They hold a hundred seats in the Parliament. They are voted in the Pillar by their fellow practitioners, which often leads to smaller Cabals of Craftmen uniting and support each other. The idea is that the Pillar of Craftmen, have the strongest voice in the Parliment, that they can also influence society iwth their wisdom to some degree. They are expected to wise and stern leaders and to ensure the constant production and improvement of golem.Pillar of Lords
The Mage Lords of Khorum, members and leaders of Mage guilds who have risen to prominence, they are voted into power by fellow practitioners included that of Golem Crafters, allowing them some measure of control of the Pillar of Lords. The Pillar of Lords has 50 Seats. The Pillar of Lords is suppose to ensure that the guilds each have a say in the running of the city as they are essential to it's survival. They are to represent the interest of their respective guilds and the guilds as a whole.Pillar of Arms
unlike many other cities the city of Khorum has great respect for the common man, for were it not for them and their efforts the city would never have survived the constant onslaught of the Sjeri. But to represent the common man, one must first have served the city, all who have been part of the armed the military branches for at least 5 years. Though must only serve as levied forces, some can choose a career if they are deemed worthy, such individuals may then represent the common man in the Pillar of Arms and the needs of the military. The pillar of Arms has 50 seats.Pillar of Coin

The Ensure the suvival of Khorum, and the defeat of the Sjeri, to help the Golem Crafters in unlocking the secrets of creating life and to maintain the supremacy of magic.
History
Demography and Population
The City is mainly populated by humans, though some a few dwarf clans have also called the city home for hundreds of years. Unlike many other cities there are very few Chimera in city, as they are despised by the populace.
Foreign Relations
Since the Fall of Fahdarm Khorum has held close relations to Rashim as the emergent power in the region, and for support against the ever increasing threat of the Sjeri and other foul Chimeric spawn of the waste.
Though the city of Khorum is well known of it's hatred of the Northerns for their attempts to push into their lands.
Divine Origins
The Exact origen of when Parron became a target of worship is unknown, but it is suspected to be some time after the Mage Lord Khorum died.
The Worship of Parron is dedicated to his mastery of craft, thus do the golem crafters of Khorum give praise to his name in the hopes that they may aspire as he did to create life from dirt, stone and iron. Indeed the worship of
Parron is exclusively a worship of creation, for they see mages of Khorum see themselves as equal or aspiring to be the equal to Lord of Crafts that they may one day create real life from that which is has none, for when they can do so, do they believe that they can return life to Kathlam and push back the Sjeri and retake their ancestral right.
Worship
The Worship of Parron in Khorum is done by very few individual, as most instead revere the Golem Crafters themselves, as creators of life and protectors of Khorum and it's people. Thus do the people give thanks, prayers and gifts to the Golem Crafters and the Golem Crafters give their's return to the Parron, thus is the Hierarchy of creation, that the Golem Crafters are the voice and reason of god.
