Chimera of humans and scorpions and possibly other unknown recipients. Once used as the shock troops of Fahdarm and before them the old empire, the Rakaja have since then fleed all over the deserts of Kathlam, seeking to live out their own lives, away from their former kin who hunt them relentlessly, not only for the danger they possess but for their bodies, as most Chimera, their body parts are innately brimming with magical energies mages seek to exploit.

And thus a highly sought after commodity, within most of the great cities and abroad, though several of their orans can also fetch a good price; Their hearts are used to bolster restorative potions, their scales are used to create armor with, especially by the Karith and their legs are considered delicacies.
