The Paths
The Elvana who dedicate themselves to war, follow the paths of war, veneration of the gods and of the arts of war that their ancestors once practiced. Many such groups seperate themselves from their clans to give their heart and soul to the cause of protecting their homes and the ancestor spirits of the wild woods.
Hanin Fen(Glory wolfs)
Though they may appear like undisciplined savages, these warriors are anything but undisciplined. They are masters of the blade, and are trained in a sporadic fighting style, whose attacks are hard to predict. The Hanin Fen wear little armor, but are instead highly mobile and reactive fighting force roaming the woods for pray and invaders alike, treating them with little difference. They are often the vanguard of forest, seeking glory in the midst of the fight, the fresh relish of battle and the cry of death in the air. Many distance themselves from the Hanin fen, fearing that the path inevitably will lead to the gaze of Dailia, and often they are right, the eldest of the wolves often become beset by visions of great battle, making them fight ever harder, and ever crueler to prolong the fight, the grant them greater glory.Halid Bellanaris(Eternal Wardens)
These wardens have sworn eternal solitude to perfect the art of war, and can hardly be called Elva anymore. They know no fear or doubt, only one sworn duty to defend the forest and its sacred sites, the ancient memories of past glories, and the terrible treasures they house. Unlike most Elvana they don heavy armour and often fight in the ancient customs as an armoured wall of death, but are just as capable as some of the greatest champions of their kin. They embody the stoic determination of the Mother goddess and her fierce protection of her children.Wyld’da(Forest Children)
A common Veshana, essentially rangers who have sworn themselves to protect the forest as an effective military force. Along its borders. They work mostly as guerrilla force wearing their enemies down and exhausting them. They fight for the groves and are amongst the few of the kin that are allowed by the groove of the elder wyld, who are not of the Hanar Hahren.Adahlen tirn(Forest watcher)
These warriors prefer to ambush an opponent and then decisively destroy them before they do to much damage to the forest, or take the pickings of the Fen’da. They wield mostly spears, but wield them expertly, they are great warriors and though they do not wear much armor their natural agility more than makes up for that. Their main goal is to guard the forest and patrol, these Warriors often live in smaller communties along with their clans, leaving as secondary socities to hone their craft, but respecting the bonds that make it worth dying in the name of the woods.Las Vanda(last oath)
These elfs are those who see no reason to live anymore, and as such goes to the deepest part of the wood, to its very heart in order to sacrifice themselves to it(or perhaps sent their as burial). Much like the Halid bellanaris, but these unlike the Halid these elf’s do not guard, but strike out against all who would threaten the forest in its most dire times. The heart absorbs these elfs and molds them into abominations, they are no longer themselves but essentially spirits hell bend on killing all intruders. Some simply swell in size to massive proportions while others become imbued with the forst itselves, growing gnarly limps. But the spirits of these elves rest at the heart itself becoming one with the forest, while their bodies fight for all eternity.
