Dailia is the child and beloved daughter of Ailym, the forgotten and The Celestial General Farron , she was born before the great war between the gods and their foul First creations, whom she grew to love as brothers and sisters, together with them did she hunt the Primordial and chaotic Titans to bring order to the world. In those years did she earn herself the Title as the goddess of the spear, the swift strike, and goddess of friendship and warrior bonds. It is said her prowess with the spear rivaled that of Calium, being amongst the few gods he respected.Warden of Titans
The Greatest of the Primordial Titans were driven into the realm of Arnahar(Dark Home) as the elves called it, and at the end of the great war was Dailia Tasked with keeping the gates to the realm, to make sure that the titans would ever escape their twisted prison and to ward off its corruption from the world. Arnahar is located in the Ethereal Plane, and therefore she often also connected as a protector of the dead, to ensure that restless spirits would not escape their plane, it is even said that at times she would aid Teshkari in his hunts for the dead who refused the calling. When the war of Creation war between her firstborn brothers and her Celestial fathers waged war upon one another her loyalties were torn between the heavens and her friends she had made during the cleansing of the titans, ultimately however she chose duty and guarded the gates watching in tears as all she loved killed themselves even claiming her beloved sister Mivha. weakening her mind to the corrupting influence of Arnahar.The Coming of Lolth
The war had soured the mind of Dailia, and her followers did all they could to cheer their beloved goddess, but nothing could ever truly heal her mind from the dour poison of Arnahar. Therefore whenLolth appeared and claimed herself to be Mivha did she finally smile again ecstatic to be reunited with her sister, she was horrified however when she heard what she had done; starting a war against their Sister Semalia but when the gods rallied to Semalias aid to kill the Lolth did she snap, she would not watch her beloved sister die once more, rallying her loyal followers she opened the door to Arnahar and devoured the Titans to claim their power and came to the aid of Lolth damning both her and her loyal followers for their minds had been poisoned by the hatred of Arnahar.Ruler of Arnahar
When the war was lost Dailia retreated to the realm she had once guarded, here did she make her home and made it her realm, reshaping the dark realm into a twisted reflection of reality, a chaotic and cruelly indifferent place, a realm she had made in a broken image of the world they left behind, a vow to return it to glory together with her beloved sister.Aspects
The Twin faced God
The Twin faced God is the manifestation of Dailia's corruption, for on one hand does she still embody the kindness and joy she did in the past, but on the other she has turned into a cruel and mocking creature, taking delight in the suffering of all creatures, even her most devoted followers. Daily seeks the ruination and conquest of the world, to such a degree that she shaped her own realm as a wretched reflection of the physical world. She always seek to expand her dominion, her agents spreading discord and conflict wherever they walk. all those who lie and steal their way to power please her.The Quick Blade
Though much has changed, Dailia still remains a warrior goddess where once she was renowned for her efficiency and clean kills, where she and her followers trained to end a fight as cleanly and quickly as possible preferably with one thrust from their spears. Now however she prefers death by a thousand cuts when her face of cruelty is dominant.The Keeper
Though this aspect is rarely called upon anymore, as she has forsaken the duty as keeper of the dead and left Teshkari to this task, though she often holds a more aggressive role, in persuing the dead who do not come willingly.Worship
The worship of Dailia is rare, and often only done so to positive aspects or as appeasement. When one prays it is to be a private occasion, a secluded area, preferable in the woods, it is done in a ritualistic dance with her favored weapon before a live fire. While dancing one is to sing their praise and prayer and end it by allowing the blade to draw blood.Divine Symbols & Sigils
Her Symbol has is often that of her divine spear, her darker aspects related to Arnahar and death is often that of jaw clenching a skull.
When in her war aspect, she is often depicted with a spear, same as her Sister, whom she taught how to wield this most noblest of weapons, the humble spear. It is not uncommon, that such depictions, show an association with symbols of death, from the former role as warden of the dead and guardian of Anahar.
