Ancient caretakers of the sacred desert, the Stewards of Karlk have always sought to maintain the delicate balance which all inhabitants of Kathlam, without their careful supervision many a natural disaster would have befallen Kathlam, and though it is a thankless job, it one they do with pride, for like Karlk they seek to nourish and help the world with what little they can, for if all were willing to share like their benevolent teacher then surely the desert would have healed long ago.
