Geography
The island itself has basalt shores with its easily identifiable hexagon pattern which makes it easy to climb onto the island from pretty much any location. However, there are local hot-springs from all the volcanic activity beneith the surface of the island, and several shipwrecks on the cliffs north of the island. There also exist a few cave systems in which myconoids make their homes, as well as giant octopi.
Localized Phenomena
With all the fighting between dragons that has occured at this location for about a millenia, there exists strong magical influence all along the island. Starting with Sharruth's own firey soul creating the island in the first place. Astalagon's, Clyssavar's and Turadaer's resting places also have some potent latent magic in the area as well. And the most recent addition, Eldenemir has also given the Clifftop Observatory a tinge of magic to it as well.
