Stella Vespera Temple

The once mysterious Stella Vespera Temple ruins can be found floating through the Astral Plane. The truth about these ruins were uncovered by the researcher and head of Arcterra Special Anthropological Research Committee, Ganani Anifari. Though few people venture to the Astral Plane and even fewer return, ancient expedition reports would occasionally reference this location as an important landmark and reference point. It was speculated that the ruins did not originate in the Astral Plane but rather in the Material Plane on account of the material it was constructed from.

It was later discovered that The Stella Vespra Temple did once reside in the Material Plane. Until sometime during the Era of War The Stella Vespera Temple was located on Calidas Island in Saido. Nowadays, on Calidas Island a crater matching the dimensions of the Temple and the piece of ground it sits on is all that would hint at its historical presence here. However, it would seem that group of monks who can trace their lineage back to the original worshippers of the temple had maintained a sanctuary deep beneath the island in secret. This place is known as the Stella Vespera Sanctuary and is theorised to have once been a sacred place to the worshippers of Stella Vespera.

Through the monks that lived here it was discovered that during the Era of War a great calamity occurred that threatened the lives of all who followed the faith of the temple. An accord was struck between Laststar and the Hero, Zolikz, on behalf of the worshippers to seal away the force that threatened them. To ensure that the seal was powerful and would last a series of conditions were imposed, two of which where that the Stella Vespera Temple would be banished to the Astral Plane and that all adult age worshippers of the Stella Vespera Temple would return to their home plane of Inferno indefinitely.

The original purpose of the Stella Vespera Temple was to provide a link to the patron deity of the people of Inferno, Stella Vespera, in the Material Plane.
