Orcs were once a populous race on the Rimeland continent, but have been reduced to a few poor tribes. They are very rarely ever seen in civilized lands and tend to loathe civilized races. When someone says ‘orc’, most folks think of half-orcs than their more brutish and barbaric ancestors.
