Shifter

Shifters are a race of animalistic humanoids from Rimeland, usually Elkown. Shifters are deeply spiritual and often follow a primal discipline. They have a strong matriarchal society of loosely allied tribes. Shifters rarely venture outside of their tribal structure. Many scholars believe shifters were once humans thousands of years ago, but are now a distinct group of sentients.

A healthy shifter ages at a about the same rate as a healthy human. A typical shifter could reach the following milestones:

• Adolescence at year 13
• Adulthood at year 18
• Death from old age at year 75
