Mechanicus Infighting
Campaign Prelude // 10/03/2024Fights broke out between competing elements of the Adeptus Mechanicus within the Poseidon sector, resulting in a rogue offshoot of skitarii and PDF forces capturing the armoury world of Chrysaor. Despite the world's significant importance, the nearby forgeworld of Thesia was unable to commit a response force while it's own security was at risk, thanks to infighting with the rogue Order of the Kraken.
Helping Hand
Arma 3 - Operation 1 - 16/03/2024The Blackshield space marine force known as the Solar Reavers deploys to Chrysaor with the assistance of the 11th Guardsman Mercenary regiment. During the initial deployment, the Solar Reavers target rebel communication centres and successfully capture componants that are crucial to the rogue cult's command network, gaining a foothold on the world while disrupting Kraken operations.
Tempest Recon
Arma 3 - Operation 2 - 17/03/2024The Solar Reavers pressed their advantage by securing the way for the deployment of the imperial guard upon Chrysaor, escorting logistics convoys that would prove vital to the establishment of key imperial positions. Their goal was to help prepare the imperial guard for an attack on the nearby city of Yolandi, a stronghold of the order of the Krakan.
Retaliation at Sakovo
Arma 3 - Operation 3 - 24/03/2024Assuming that an assault on the city of Yolandi was imminant, the order of the Krakan instead struck first at imperial guard positions stationed in the town of Sakovo - Imperial guard units were hard pressed to defend their position while maintaining an agressive footing with the view of attacking Yolandi in the imminant future.

Arma 3 - Operation 3 - 24/03/2024As intense firefights raged around Sakovo, the Solar Reavers struck at over-extended rebel infantry units. One such attack was deliberately targeted with the objective of capturing a rebel commissar, which upon successful execution, led to a crumbling of morale and organisation amongst the forces attacking Sakovo. In short order the retaliatory attack upon Sakovo was repelled by the combined efforts of the 11th Mercenary Regiment and the Solar Reavers. The faltering of morale upon the rebel front rippled backwards to Yolandi itself; after hearing of their esteemed commissar's capture, many rebel PDF defenders fled their carefully prepared positions, which in turn caused more of Yolandi's defenders to rout. The Solar Reavers quickly capatalised on this fortunate turn of events and led a direct assault into Yolandi, capturing the city in a remarkably short time frame and with minimal losses.
Iron Summit
Arma 3 - Operation 4 - 30/03/2024The captured commissar was interrogated and yielded intel of a high-ranking rebel techpriest, located within the fortifications of the nearby mountain top of Mt Rooker. The Solar Reavers deployed shortly thereafter, exploiting a gap in rebel defences within the town of Belucco, which paved the way for a successful assault on Mt Rooker and the capture of the Order of the Kraken Techpriest.
The Priest in Orange
Operation Prelude - 31/03/2024Revealing himself to be an Adeptus Mechanicus spy, the captured tech priest demanded that he be escorted to the city of Focha in the South, but provided very few answers as to why - regardless, the techpriest asked that the Solar Reavers maintain his cover at all costs and that discretion would be paramount for his mission to succeed.
Shadow Escort
Arma 3 - Operation 5 - 31/03/2024Though suspicious of the techpriest, the Solar Reavers agreed to aid him in his quest Southwards towards the city of Focha, covertly escorting him under the guise of a prisoner via a mechanicus expeditionary vehicle. Before the Solar Reavers could complete their journey however, alarms were triggered in the lands surrounding the recently conquered city of Yolandi; an all out rebel attack was well under-way and approaching the city at speed. The Solar Reavers consequently diverted elements of their escort force in an attempt to bolster Yolandi's defenders, but this was planned for by the Order of the Kraken as a second assault rapidly broke away from the main thrust at Yolandi and into the escort column of the Solar Reavers. The ensuing skirmish was arduous and bloody, but the Solar Reavers had succeeded in escorting the expeditionary vehicle unharmed to the city of Focha.
Iron Bastion
Arma 3 - Operation 6 - 06/04/2024Cut off from their black shield allies, the 11th Guardsmen Mercenary regiment stood alone against a combined assault of skitarii and rebel PDF forces at the city of Yolandi. Despite the grave odds however, the 11th held firm and rebuffed wave after wave of attackers. It would later be discovered that the skitarii present among the rebel forces were not actually of the Kraken order; instead they were agents of an unknown forgeworld - a realisation that was cause for much concern amongst the 11th's command staff. In addition, the guardsmen stationed at Yolandi captured yet another high ranking PDF officer during the successful defence of the city, interrogating him for further inteligence on rebel forces.
Forgeworld Espionage
Recovered Intel - 06/04/2024During the imperial defence of Yolandi, intel was gathered pertaining to the orders of the mysterious forgeworld agents posing as the Order of the Kraken, who saught to decieve the Solar Reavers through misdirection and the planting of false evidence.
Shadow Banishment
Arma 3 - Operation 7 - 06/04/2024Following the revelation of rival forgeworld epsionage and manipulation, the Solar Reavers immidiately pivoted in their goals with the aim of securing Magos Vladius Terro as soon as possible, and the total purging of all remaining forge world skitarii forces upon the planet. After locating the Magos, the Blackshields led a rapid assault via the Village of Saira where they uncovered and destroyed more falsified evidence designed to frame the Order of the Kraken. Eventually after several hours of fighting the Solar Reavers had reached the Magos and extracted him unharmed.
