Sarochori

Fishing port on the western coast of Jezero south of Kvant . Fief of origination for House Maltreb.
Located at the mid-point between Kvant and Shaarj, Sarochori isn't nearly as large as the larger cities, but is considered much more stable, having not suffered nearly as much as the others during the course of The Devil War. House Maltreb rules the city with an iron fist in a velvet glove. For the majority of the population living conditions are quite good as long as they do as their lord commands. The punishment for all crimes have a corporal aspect to them; thieves lose hands and blasphemers lose their tongues for example, often making the criminals easy to spot amongst locals. This harsh treatment of law breakers keeps the levels of crime down, and the populace afraid of challenging the status quo.
