Slaterun, the centrepiece of Caail'Dryn's trade and military prowess. Ruled by a Tiefling (Almira Dratleer) and her close compatriots, the city has flourished with strong military spending and aggressive trade deals, causing the Merchant's Convoy Association to build their headquarters within the city.
Due to it's placement within the heart of the Marble Aimsr Slaterun and it's surrounding villages produce a high amount of food, this excess allows them to supply the Merchant's Convoy Association with a steady supply of nutritious and flavourful provisions. It's placement along the Maiden's Run has cause Slaterun to provide first contract with the Dragon Plains and its people.
The leaders of Slaterun banned open worship leading to the destruction of temples and public outcry. After a number of imprisonments this restriction was changed to allow people to worship quietly within their own homes or move out of the city. However each year people are arrested for having shrines visible through their front doors.
While this restriction on religion has pushed away many many people, including all capable clerics, the economic and technological development has drawn in an equal number. Traditional medicine has been accelerated within Slaterun and Golems are beginning to populate the streets, preforming mundane labor. All the while, moneylenders are flourishing in the outskirts as people flock to the City-State of Slaterun for a chance at a better life.
