Personal history
Born to a noble family, Adun had plenty of resources and opportunities to do as he pleased, yet he was of a gentler heart than those he was related to. He saw problems of poverty, sickness, and more run rampant in his family's territory with nothing done about it. Whenever he could, Adun would give money, food, and medicine to those who needed it most and would in turn receive their loyalty.
Once he became the head of his family, he would play into buying the loyalty of others through his position to then in turn achieve higher seats of power. When it came to it, Adun was a fierce and devastating political opponent that had a network of informants that let him know how best to take control. After a few years of his gentle, yet firm, reign his opponents came to know him as the soft tyrant for his disturbingly deep, and personal, threats when his power was challenged. Even though Adun had, and has, many opponents he does not kill, hurt, or dispose of them through his own actions. Instead of this, he lets his opponents spell their own defeats through their own actions and ineptitude.
The only seat of power left for him to gain is that of the Central Councilor, but he has no need nor way to gain it just yet.
