Nemedden Moonrunner
King Nemedden Moonrunner was the grandson of Garren Moonrunner, previous King of Jorentes. Following a series of court scandals and a decades of ruinous incursions in the north country, Garren lost support of all the major houses and the royal family. With the support of the Solar Storm, Sunscale, the Eventide Alliance of the most powerful noble Jorentes houses and the military who regard Nemedden as a Champion and, Nemedden was chosen as king over his father and older brother.
Nemedden has spent his time in power strengthening the military and the Solar Storm in preparation for what he sees as inevitable war with the Helegu Khaganate or the displaced nations they drive before them, and securing the northern fortress wall to safeguard northern Jorentes. Nemedden is well known as a highly capable Eldritch Knight and has a personal guard that combines other Eldritch Knights, extremely rare Wedge Soldiers formations, magicians, unaligned priests, the famous Cloud Giant guard and a few supernatural protectors.
He is known for his grimness, even-handedness, military cleverness and intolerance to anything he perceives as threatening Jorentes, Kingdom of. Respected, but not widely loved, Nemedden is a wartime leader in a time of peace, preparing for inevitable conflict.
Married to Elenta, he has one child to date, Princess Mira Moonrunner.
